This digital collection consists of a political campaign flyer for the 1864 presidential election entitled “The Two Roads of Peace! How Shall We End the Rebellion – Shall We Coax It, or Crush It?” It was published by the National Union Executive Committee, Astor House, New York. The flyer describes the Chicago (Democrat) and the Baltimore (Republican) platforms and promotes the re-election of President Abraham Lincoln and the Republican Party’s stand against the Confederacy.
