This 16th century Latin book on geometry, specifically measurement of length, area, and volume, is one of Albrecht Dürer's noteworthy contributions to the relationship between mathematics and art.  The text is abundantly illustrated, including woodcuts of publisher's devices, illustrated capital letters, artists working at their craft, numerous  geometric designs, several pull-outs depicting perspective, and many fine examples of lettering.
